Every story has an ending, or a point in time. This story has a sad ending and it is where we will start.
Roger Sundman passed away in September 2006 in North Carolina after a hard fought struggle with Cancer. We will always miss him, but thinking of him will always make me smile.
Today Claudia lives in a community nearby the hospital where Roger received his treatment. The area is splendid, with Universities, Hospitals, Shopping and friends in close proximity. The Oriental property was sold, as was the Summerthor, after it sailed back from the Rio Dulce in Guatemala.
The Voyage of the Summerthor was a terrific journey for Roger and Claudia and all their friends, some of whom experienced it with them, and others who followed their experiences here.
The passing of Roger does not diminish the voyage. The hope is that visiting these pages will prompt a memory that will make you too smile.
